One Garden Brighton is a fantastic destination garden within Stanmer Park. Carefully reinvented and restored by the Plumpton College group, the gates opened the to the public for the first time in April 2021. Rooted in the past, it focuses on inspiration for the future. Whether for eating, meeting, pleasure, or plants, One Garden Brighton is a place for everyone, with things to discover every day.

The gardens celebrate both heritage and innovation and include productive traditional fruit and vegetable gardens as well as a series of contemporary themed gardens which are designed for typical, often difficult, urban conditions. The attraction also features One Market, a retail space complete with a plant nursery and food and beverage offer.

You will be an integral part of the management team, shaping One Market to reach the vision of our brand.

The Retail Manager has overall responsibility for all retail, food & beverage operations at One Market, One Garden Brighton. Managing the day-to-day operations of One Market and its associated pop-ups, you will be an experienced retail professional within the high street retail, farm shops or visitor attraction markets.

The role will deliver 'exceptional service, every time, for everyone' and champion a service culture within the team. The postholder will maintain consistent standards of presentation of people, service and products at all times. Reviewing performance regularly against sales and margin data, customer feedback and mystery visitor scores, you will ensure a first-class retail experience. You will be able to work flexibly and effectively in a busy retail environment.

You will report to the Operations Manager of One Garden Brighton and will be supported by the wider team as well as Plumpton College's Senior Management Team.
