Finance Manager - Permanent, Full Time, Monday - Friday (36 hours per week) - Salary up to £43,500 per annum depending on qualifications and experience, based at Ware Campus, Holiday Entitlement 30 days per annum, Closing Date 19th August 2024

We are currently on the search for a highly motivated Finance Manager at Hertford Regional College (HRC) to lead and manage the Transactional Team within the Finance Department to support the vision and mission of the College and Subsidiary Companies.

About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Professional to work for Hertford Regional College and subsidiary companies.

Hertford Regional College provide some of the best in house training and staff development opportunities to maintain your professional development.

About You

You will be a fully or part qualified Finance Professional (preferably ACCA/CIMA) with experience of management accounts, completing statutory filings as well as experience of managing teams, and ideally working in the further education sector.

You will provide timely and accurate financial information as appropriate and lead on value for money, capital projects and insurance.

You will work with the Financial Controller and the Management Accountant to produce long term capital plans, budgets, and grant applicants.

You will support and prioritize the day-to-day work of your direct reports, to mentor, manage and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance office.

You will support the Senior Leadership Team on projects associated with developing Subsidiary companies as required.

You will have experience working with the finance system Civica, be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Formulas and Data Analytics

Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written is also very key to being successful in the role.
