We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Specialist to join our team. You will provide essential 1:1 and small group support to SEND students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored support plans for SEND students
• Collaborate with teaching staff and Learning Support Coordinators
• Utilise a variety of strategies to enhance student independence
• Support an identified caseload of SEND students on a 1:1 or small group basis outside the classroom in preparing for adulthood and independent living

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in supporting students with SEN
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Passion for helping young people succeed
• Level 2 qualification in a relevant SEND area or discipline
• Level 3 qualification in Learning Support
• Level 3 Preparing to Teach qualification
• Level 2 English and Maths
