Position: Job Coach (Supported Internships)

Salary: £27,266 - £32,105 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We're looking for a dedicated Job Coach to join our team and help shape the future of our students who access education and work skills through our Supported Internship programmes.
  • Supportive Coaching: Provide personalised career guidance to young people with SEND, helping them identify strengths, develop skills, and explore career opportunities.
  • Tailored Employment Plans: Work one-on-one to create individualised employment plans that align with each student's goals and abilities.
  • Workplace Integration: Assist students in securing work placements, and offer ongoing support to ensure successful integration into the workplace.
  • Collaboration: Partner with local businesses, educators, and families to create a supportive network for each student.
  • Skill Development: Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on essential job skills, such as communication, teamwork, and time management responsibilities
Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience with SEND: Previous experience working with young people with support needs is essential.
