We are seeking a dynamic and experienced BTEC Sports Tutor and Football Coach to join our team. In this dual role, you will have the opportunity to shape the educational journey of aspiring sports professionals while also leading and developing football players. As a BTEC Sports Tutor, you will design and deliver engaging curriculum content, incorporating principles of sports science and utilising educational technology to enhance learning. Your role will involve assessing and evaluating student performance, ensuring they meet academic standards while providing constructive feedback. As a Football Coach, you will be responsible for planning and executing effective training sessions, analysing game footage, and implementing strategies to improve team and individual performance. You will work closely with players to develop their technical skills, fitness, and understanding of the game, all while fostering a positive and supportive team environment. Your expertise in both teaching and coaching will contribute to the growth and success of our students and players.

You are a passionate and knowledgeable professional with a deep understanding of sports science and football tactics. Your background in teaching and coaching equips you with the skills needed to deliver high-quality education and training. You excel in curriculum design and can effectively use technology to enhance learning experiences. Your ability to assess and evaluate student progress, combined with your technical football expertise, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You bring excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills to inspire and engage students and players alike. Your adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment are key to your success. Qualifications:

Essential
  • GCSE Maths & English grade 4 or above
  • 3 A-levels or equivalent (Level 3, BTEC etc.)
  • A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area. (Sports Science, Sports Coaching)
  • UEFA C or above
Desirable
  • A recognised Post 16 teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS A1 Award)
  • V1 Award
  • First Aid
  • Safeguarding
What do we have on offer?

Salary Scale:£22,308 - £25,157 per annum (pro rata) depending on skills qualifications and experience.
