We are looking to recruit a Workshop Technician to support our busy Blacksmithing forge, Motor Vehicle, and Engineering workshops situated within our college workshop environment. Our workshops provide a realistic working environment to help prepare students for their future employment.

Working closely with our workshop manager, the role will include preparation of practical resources for students for a variety of workshop tasks and other broader engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have recent workshop technician experience. We also welcome applications from candidates with a technical background who are willing to learn on the job.

Suitable candidates will hold a relevant engineering qualification at level 2 or above and possess relevant sector experience. Candidates will be professional, hardworking, confident, and able to work in a team and communicate effectively. Above all they will be focused on providing an effective learning environment for our students.
