Role: Cover Teacher
Locations: Worksop and Surrounding Areas
Contract: Flexible (Day-to-Day, Short-Term, Long-Term)About the Role: As a Cover Teacher, you will ensure continuity of learning by delivering pre-planned lessons and fostering a positive learning environment. You'll have the opportunity to work across various subjects, providing you with a broad teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons based on pre-set plans.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse student groups.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (including university placements).
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience for Cover Supervisors.
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational experience.
We are also interested in speaking with anyone who has managed groups of young people between 11-16 in the last 24 months in any of the following:
  • In a school/college or university classroom environment.
  • Any grassroots sports, i.e., football, rugby, hockey, etc.
  • Guides, Scouts, Army Cadets, etc.
  • Community centres
  • Any other voluntary work with young people
