As London's environmental college, the College plays a vital role in the green agenda for the capital, equipping the next generation of land-based sector workers with the skills and knowledge needed to preserve and protect London's wildlife, national parks and green spaces.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Animal Management to provide high-quality teaching and learning on our Animal Management courses.

Our School of Animal Management offers a wide range of courses including a Level 1 Introduction to Animal Care course, the Level 2 Animal Care Technical Diploma and the Level 3 Animal Management Advanced Diploma. We also offer Access to Higher Education Diplomas in Veterinary Science and Animal Science and Welfare. We offer a Keeper and Aquarist apprenticeship and also run Higher Education courses in Animal Management and Zoology and Animal Management and Biodiversity. The post holder will provide high quality teaching on the College's Animal Management courses and ensure the effective learning of students being taught. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students.

Applicants should possess and Degree, HND or other relevant qualification in an animal related discipline, science or other associated subject. We welcome applications from experienced Lecturers and from those with relevant industry experience who are interested in passing on their skills to others.
