Sessional Lecturer - AI Programming with Python & IT User Skills

The School of Employability at South Thames College are looking for Sessional Lecturers to teach the following;
  • Level 3 Certificate in AI Programming with Python
  • Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills (IDCL Advanced)
  • Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (IDCL)
You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to a group of around 15 adult learners using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies that meet the individual needs of all learners.

The Level 3 Certificate in AI Programming with Python course will follow the TQUK specification and requires availability to deliver these classes on Wednesday evenings, from 6pm until 9:30pm, from 2nd October 2024 to 16th July 2025. There are no classes during College holidays.

The Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills will follow the BCS specification and requires availability on Tuesday evenings, from 6pm until 9:30pm, from 1st October 2024 to 15th July 2025. There are no classes during College holidays.

The Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills will follow the BCS specification and requires availability on Wednesday evenings, from 6pm until 9:30pm, from 6th November 2024 to 2nd July 2025. There are no classes during College holidays.

We ask that you hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent current teaching skills in IT. You will have experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations' standards and have a thorough understanding of the Quality Assurance cycle and your role in it.
