About the role: Early Years Teacher

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and creative individuals who can inspire our Early Years students and create memorable learning experiences.

Utilising your excellent subject knowledge and practical skills, you will collaborate with our dedicated team of talented and passionate teachers. Together, we will plan and deliver engaging practical and theory lessons up to level 3, primarily focusing on our T Level Education and Childcare course. You will also contribute to curriculum development to adapt to the evolving industry demands.

Our Academic and Professional Studies department has a strong track record of delivering vocational Early Years/Childcare courses with a focus on employability. This success is driven by our excellent industry relationships and a teaching team comprised of experts with extensive professional experience. We offer well-established, highly successful professionally accredited courses in Early Years.

This is a permanent, part-time position, Reading College

What does it take to succeed as an Early Years Teacher at Activate Learning?

We seek individuals who can serve as role models for our students, ensuring they graduate with not only their professional qualifications but also the essential skills for workplace success. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is essential.

While previous teaching experience or qualifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory. If you possess the qualifications or experience to enhance our students' digital capabilities and exhibit the qualities of an inspirational teacher, we will provide the necessary training, development, and support to teach in the Further Education sector.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above and experience in the Early Years sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of the T Level course
  • A teaching qualification and experience in education as a teacher is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in an early years setting

Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to deliver engaging and purposeful lessons to a diverse range of learners. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads are also important.
