Sessional Lecturer - Early Years

Sessional Lecturer - Early Years

Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Sessional Lecturer to join our Early Years section and assess and monitor learners studying Level 1 through to T-Level including Foundation Degree and Childhood Studies with SEN.

The courses are predominantly coursework based, therefore we seek an innovative practitioner to design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners. You will lead the development of programmes within the section and act as the main point of contact for employers and students, providing feedback on progress as required.

We'd like our Sessional Lecturer to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in Early Years and/or Education, have excellent teaching skills and experience of teaching on Higher Education courses. You'll have the ability to support, motivate and empathise with young learners, including monitoring their progress, and have an awareness of academic quality standards.

It goes without saying that you'll have experience of working in the industry, specifically in Early Years or SEN.

Closing date for the return of completed applications is 3rd July 2024.

There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities and professional development and training plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. The benefits package is pro-rated for part time staff.
