We're looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Head of Employer Engagement to lead our college's employer engagement strategy and drive the progression of full-time students into apprenticeships! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce by building strategic relationships with employers, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a high-performing team.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing and executing an exciting employer engagement strategy to boost apprenticeship starts, including innovative pathways for full-time students.
• Building strong, sustainable partnerships with employers across multiple sectors, ensuring they get the best out of our training programs.
• Leading on dynamic marketing initiatives, employer events, and high-impact networking to raise the college's profile.
• Inspiring and managing a motivated team to hit ambitious targets, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
• Working closely with senior leadership to shape strategic decisions and influence the future of our employer-led training provision.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or employer engagement, ideally within the education or training sectors.
• A natural relationship builder with a knack for identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop a team to exceed performance targets.
• A results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of apprenticeships, funding rules, and industry trends, with the ability to translate them into meaningful strategies for employers.
