Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young people?
Do you have the resilience, patience, and empathy to support students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs?

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at a PRU SEMH school, working with students from primary and secondary age groups. This is an exciting opportunity to receive full training, at no cost, to help you develop the skills needed to thrive in this role.

About the Role:

In this rewarding position, you will:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them overcome personal and academic challenges.
  • Confidently manage challenging behavior and use creative, patient strategies to engage students in their learning.
  • Provide mentorship, promoting resilience, self-discipline, and teamwork.
  • Work with a supportive team to create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages emotional and social development.
  • Support students in both group settings and 1:1 interventions, offering guidance and encouragement.

What We Offer:

  • Free training and ongoing professional development to help you succeed and grow in your role.
  • A highly supportive team and a welcoming, dynamic work environment.
  • The chance to make a real impact in the lives of young people who need positive role models.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, fulfilling role where every day presents new challenges and rewards.

What We Are Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Resilient, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Someone who thrives on overcoming challenges and is passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of students.
  • A strong communicator who works well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in education, youth work, sports coaching, or outdoor activities is an advantage (but not required as full training is provided).

If you have the resilience, patience, and drive to support young people with SEMH needs, and you're eager to develop your skills through our free training, we would love to hear from you!

We reserve the right to bring forward the closing date of the adverts should we receive a sufficient level of interest!
