Salary: £24,939 - £27,613 per annum

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role

Are you looking to bring your administrative skills to a dynamic and fast-paced environment? The Sheffield College, a diverse and vibrant further education institution, is seeking an Executive Services Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, confidential support to the Chief Executive and Principal's Office, helping us deliver on our mission to transform lives through learning.

As the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing communications, scheduling, and meetings. Your professional customer service skills, along with your ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently, will be essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Executive Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and confidential administrative support to the Principal's Office.
  • Maintain budget trackers, raise purchase requisitions, and handle expense approvals.
  • Organise internal and external meetings, conferences, and college events, including VIP visits, travel arrangements, and accommodation bookings
  • Act as a first point of contact for all queries, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for visitors and colleagues.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, arranging meeting rooms, and taking minutes when needed.
Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience of working in an executive administration role in a large organisation
  • Competent in the use of IT packages (Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams etc)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills and the initiative to prioritise their workload
  • Work collaboratively with not only team colleagues but with staff and teams across the organisation
