Salary Point 16, £23,409 per annum

Hours 37 hours per week, all year round.
Whilst this is a full-time position, we always appoint on merit, and are open to discussing flexible working options.

Peterborough College is seeking a passionate and organized HR Administrator to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role in supporting our staff by providing exceptional administrative services in the areas of Employee Relations and Learning & Development.

What you'll do:
  • Provide confidential and professional administrative support to the Senior HR Business Partner and the L&D Business Partner
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with College policies and procedures
  • Manage the administration of disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Oversee Learning & Development activities, including training records and induction programs
  • Track Occupational Health referrals and support with audits
  • ...and much more!

What we're looking for:
  • A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in a relevant subject (e.g., Business Administration)
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A good communicator
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience in HR or a related field (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and data protection (GDPR)
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work
