The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.

We are looking for an all-rounder to join a team of busy and expert theatre technicians who serve both the Manchester College Performing Arts Department and The Arden School of Theatre. Both departments have a busy season of shows running through the academic year within our two on site theatre spaces as well as external venues in the city.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 2 English & Mathematics
  • Industry relevant qualification as applicable by specialist function
  • Experience within the industry and previous experience of working within an education setting.
  • Specialise in theatre lighting. However, must be willing to turn your hand to a number of different skills.
  • First Aid qualification (or be prepared to work towards within first year).
