Salary Unqualified: £27,750 - £29,400 per annum plus £3000 market rate
allowance
Qualified: £30,274 - £35,033 per annum plus £6000 market rate allowance

Hours 37 hours per week, all year round (1.0 FTE)

Are you a passionate engineer with a knack for inspiring young people? Do you have the skills and experience to guide students in both theory and practice? If so, we want you on our team!

What you'll do:

• Plan and deliver engaging engineering lessons across various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, fabrication, welding, aeronautical, or motor vehicle)
• Guide students in our industry-standard engineering workshops, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application
• Support and mentor young learners, fostering their growth and development
• Collaborate with a diverse and skilled engineering team, contributing your unique expertise

What we're looking for:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification and recent, comprehensive experience in the engineering industry
• A teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or a strong commitment to obtaining a Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training (we'll provide support!)
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional lessons (rated 'Good' or higher)
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring students
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
• Flexibility and an ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience organising, managing, and delivering learning opportunities in a related field
