Job description

  • 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent
  • Salary: £33,267 per annum - £40,350 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience )
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Engineer and academic to lead our HE Engineering suite of programmes to continue the success of the offer within University Studies at WSC. You will join a friendly and supportive team of Engineers and colleagues, who play key roles in the delivery and on-going development of the courses in the Higher Education offer in partnership with Pearson and the University of East Anglia.

You will take on the role as Course Leader with support from the Executive Dean, with whom you will work closely. You will be actively involved in curriculum development and design, creatively considering teaching and learning within a dynamic team, and teaching across the HNC/D and BEng programmes. You will be involved in preparing students for professional employment and your role will include being a Personal Academic Tutor, to support and encourage students to achieve their potential. You will also supervise students with their dissertations and participate in admissions and recruitment events working collaboratively with the wider College and outreach partners.
