37 hours per week

£40,343 - £46,519 per annum + £2,500 Golden Hello Payment (Terms and Conditions apply)

 

We are delighted to announce an exciting vacancy within our Construction team as Curriculum Leader for Construction.

 

You will be a highly motivated and innovative Curriculum Leader, with the ability to inspire, motivate and support your team. With direction from the Head of Area, you will innovate in curriculum and deliver dynamic teaching and learning. You will be a key member of the College’s Management Team and contribute to operational and strategic management initiatives as a part of the College’s journey and vision to deliver an outstanding curriculum to the communities we serve.

 

Ideally, you will:

  • Hold a level relevant degree and a PGCE/Cert ed or willingness to work towards.
  • Have the experience to manage, motivate and support a team of staff in an educational environment
  • Have the experience of delivering and assessing a range of curriculum programmes

 

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Leading teachers and work-based tutors in the engagement of relevant stakeholders to inform schemes of work and enhance our curriculum offer
  • Driving and demonstrating excellence in teaching, learning and assessment with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Working alongside leaders within the curriculum management team and wider college management team to implement and lead on aspects of the College’s Positive Behaviour approach
  • Working with the Head of Area, to be pro-active in exploring, developing and implementing cutting edge pedagogy
  • Championing our commitment to putting students first
  • Promoting our values of fairness, respect & quality
