1 Year Fixed Term Contract

The School of English, Maths & ESOL at Carshalton College are now seeking an inspiring and ambitious Lecturer to teach ESOL across all levels to 16-18 and 19+ learners.

Using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies that meet the individual needs of all learners, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to ensure learners are gaining a positive learning experience. The role also includes providing language/literacy support to ESOL adult students.

As our Lecturer, you'll hold a degree or relevant qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent current teaching skills in ESOL across all levels. You will have experience of providing Additional Learning Support and have current knowledge of curriculum changes and the implications for teaching and learning strategies.

We also ask that you have experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations' standards and have a thorough understanding of the Quality Assurance cycle and your role in it.

Availability to work two evenings per week is a must.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is implemented in the new academic year.
