Quality Improvement Coach (QIC) for Hertford Regional College (HRC) onsite Monday - Friday (36 hours per week) working across both campuses in Ware and Broxbourne, Salary £31,225 - £39,425 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, Holiday entitlement; 42 days per annum plus bank holidays, Closing Date: 2nd September 2024 @ Midday

We are recruiting a Quality Improvement Coach for Hertford Regional College (HRC) to work around teaching commitments for 24/25.

About The Role

The Quality Improvement Coach role requires a passionate and motivated individual to support staff to improve the teaching, learning and assessment (TLA) at the college. The role will work around your own subject specialist teaching commitments, to observe classes, audit planning and assessment materials, to provide developmental support for new and experienced staff at the college. The QIC will need to plan and deliver CPD to the staff and bring in external knowledge around pedagogy and classroom practice to share with peers.

You will receive role specific CPD, be given the tools and autonomy to build expertise in a chosen area and build an evidence base of activities and work you have done to improve teaching and learning across the College. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, influence and develop at the heart of the College's quality team.

About You

The successful applicant will have good to outstanding teaching experience in a subject specialism working within an educational environment and hold a Level 2 qualification. Additionally, they will hold a Level 2 in Maths and English and have completed a teacher training qualification such as PGCE.

This role will suit someone who is seeking an opportunity to showcase their expertise in educational pedagogy and TLA, and who can demonstrate positive approach in working with staff to drive improvement and consistency in HRC.
