Course Leader/Coach - Sports - Chester About the Role To support the course team; to plan and organise routine team operations and to ensure the efficient implementation of College policies and procedures in order to deliver the highest possible quality curriculum to students.
Main Responsibilities - Leadership - creating a positive climate and set high expectations for the course team in relation to standards of student achievement and the quality of teaching.
- Course Management - ensure the development and maintenance of a course structure and schemes of work within the context of the organisation's guidelines and policy.
- Classroom Management Skills
- Coaching - Plan and follow a clear and transparent Football curriculum which meets the needs of the players at the centre
- Time Management
- Learner Management
- Resources - use accommodation and resources to create an effective and stimulating environment for learning and teaching.
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience - Course leader - Level 3 Sport Coaching and Development
- Coach - minimum UEFA B level
- A formal teaching qualification at Level 4 or above
- Experience of working in FE.
- Experience of the post-16 age group.
What do we have on offer? Salary Scale: £25,766 - £29,014 per annum, depending on skills qualifications and experience.
