Employment Job Coach 29.6 hours per week, 36 weeks per year £26,489 - £28,269 per annum pro rata An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Job coach to join our Inclusive Learning and MINT team to support our students on our Work Matters Agri-Land Supported Internship. This course involved 3 full days on a work placement and 2 employability skills days on the Easton campus.
As an Employment job coach, you will work alongside the Work Matters course leader to support our students with a range of different disabilities and difficulties to access a range of onsite/offsite work placements with our linked Supported Internship providers.
You will travel between sites to support and coach young people to be work ready and devise strategies to support them to cope effectively with the everyday challenges that the workplace can bring.
You will build effective working relationships with employers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that our students succeed during their internship and gain employment by the end of the programme.
You will support the course leader to deliver course content and manage the day-to-day workload of placements for students on our internships. In addition to this you will work with students on a 1:1 basis and in a mixture of workplace/classroom settings.
Knowledge or experience of using TSI training (Training in Systematic Instruction) would be an advantage.
