Job Coach (Foundation Learning) - Bicton College - Salary: £23,757.32 FTE (pro-rata salary for part-time, term-time only role: £13,335.71 plus holiday pay £1,949.07, total £15,284.78 / £14.15 per hour) - Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2025 - Hours per week: 30 - Weeks per year: 36 (term-time) - Closing date: 15 August 2024 - Interviews: week commencing 19 August 2024

Based at our beautiful Bicton College campus, we are looking for an experienced individual to support learners in ensuring a successful transition from college to employment for the College's Foundation Learning students. The post holder will work alongside curriculum and support teams as well as employers and external agencies to ensure learners have access to appropriate work experience and enterprise opportunities. They will build positive relationships with learners and support them with their work experience.

Applicants must have Level 2 English and maths qualifications or equivalent (GCSE grade C), experience with working with young people with SEND, be able to demonstrate experience in networking with external stakeholders/employers and have access to their own vehicle. It would also be beneficial for applicants to have experience in Health and Safety at Work Act and writing risk assessments.

This role is intended to be for 4 days per week, however we would be happy to discuss various options, for instance you could work 5 days per week during Term1, then 4 days per week during Term 2 and then 3 days per week during Term 3. Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2025.
