Lead Electrical Assessor/Trainer - based onsite, at Broxbourne Campus - Monday - Friday (36 hours per week), Salary up to £47,500 per annum (Including £5,000 market supplement) depending on qualifications and experience, Holiday Entitlement - 30 Days per annum plus bank holidays, Closing date 9th September 2024 @ midday.

We are looking to recruit a Lead Electrical Assessor/Trainer at Hertford Regional College to support the successful enrolment, delivery, training, and achievements at our state-of-the-art facilities in Broxbourne.

About The Role

To support the successful enrolment, delivery, training, and achievements, via the application of effective teaching, learning and assessment practices. To ensure all apprentices achieve timely and overall outcomes on Apprenticeship standards within identified subject areas/specialisms. To programme manage the Electrical Installation Apprenticeship with focus on quality improvement within the Electrical apprenticeship delivery.

About You

You should have assessing in subject specialism experience working within FE, training or HE environment and hold a professional qualification in Electrical Installation Work up to Level 3. You will have GCSEs C or above in Maths and English and hold a teacher training or assessor qualification such as PGCE or DTLLS, or a willingness to complete in an agreed timeframe. You will have great interpersonal and organisation skills and competent in using IT systems.

You will display a passion for learning and assessing and enjoy interacting and engaging with students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues whilst using your own initiative. You will set the foundation, being the vital component to assess the competency of apprentices in their workplace and contribute to a successful starting route in them entering the world of work!

The successful applicant will be willing to work flexible to support learners in the workplace - occasionally work irregular or unsocial hours. You will be a car owner, hold a full clean licence and have a car available for business use.
