Garden Landscape Design Technician - Eden Project University Centre - Salary: £22,560.72 - £22,958.76 FTE (Actual pro-rata salary for part-time, term-time only role: £6,451.07 - £6,564.89 / £13.68 per hour including holiday pay) Hours per week: 15 - Weeks per year: 32 (variable/term-time only) - Closing date: 15 August 2024 - Interview Date: 23 August 2024

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Garden & Landscape CAD, graphics & IT Technician to join Eden Project University Centre. We are committed to providing a progressive and inspiring work culture, which thrives on delivering excellent learning support.

We are looking for a Garden & Landscape CAD Technician to join our expanding team, working alongside our garden and landscape design lecturers and programme managers to support students on a variety of project types from residential garden design, RHS show gardens to large scale commercial and public realm projects or historic parks and gardens.

The successful applicant will need strong skills in AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Adobe. They will champion best practices and workflows within garden and landscape design process to help students best realise their creative vision.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, who can be flexible to the needs of our students. The dynamic nature of a university centre will provide the opportunity to develop your skills whilst working on a range of exciting and diverse projects and provides the opportunity to work alongside our experienced practising programme managers in developing modules and design projects.

Excellent opportunities for continuing professional development exist within this role. You will be supported by Eden Project Learning to develop your knowledge and skills through internal and external training events.
