Based at our St Austell Campus, we are looking for an experienced individual to contribute the necessary expertise required to run successful courses and commercial salons in Hairdressing and other areas as directed. The role will involve carrying out general duties in salon, such as adhering to health and safety checks, ordering stock, building and maintaining a client base, conducting services when needed, creating a positive learning environment and working with product companies and suppliers.

Applicants must have knowledge and experience of the hair sector and be able to work with teaching staff to support learners within their lessons. Up-to-date industry knowledge and skills are important for this role as well as a professional and supportive nature. It would be advantageous if applicants had experience of training or teaching and held an assessor's qualification. Applicants would be expected to be prepared to work toward teaching and assessor's qualification if not already held (funded and delivered by us).

Working hours

The hours for this role are: Monday & Tuesday evenings, and Thursday 8.30am - 5pm.
