About the role:
The provision of Online learning at Activate Learning has grown rapidly over the past 5 years and has achieved sector-leading learner outcomes and won multiple awards. As Project Manager, you will support it's growth through the research and development of a fully costed business case to support it's 5 year strategic plan. We are enacting our strategic plan ‘Empowering Learning’ by building further on our progress to date by significantly growing our online provision whilst continuing to improve the quality of the learner experience and relevance of provision in contributing to meet local, regional, and national skills needs.
The Online Faculty team has developed into a happy, diverse, and highly effective workforce and generates extraordinary learner feedback - a result of innovation, ambition, and leadership. It exemplifies Activate Learning’s commitment to be a pioneering education organisation. Now composed of over eighty courses, it enables learners to study from entry level to level 6, gaining a degree in the process. It now serves circa 3000 learners each year and has developed a national footprint amongst its learners and staff. This has all been made possible by the core proposition which is to provide accessible, impactful, and sustainable online learning, for businesses and individuals. This is underpinned by the Learning Philosophy which encourages the social and confidence building aspect of learning to flourish for individuals whilst learning online.
Working with the Group Director, you'll define the project objectives and scope, and which internal and external stakeholders will be involved. From this you'll lead the creation of a comprehensive business case, and work with our Finance team to ensure it's accurate and fully costed.
Working with internal stakeholders across the business and from our online teaching staff nation-wide, you will provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for them, while coordinating multiple projects and monitoring progression throughout to ensure all project streams are aligned and progressing towards our strategic objectives.
