0.5 FTE Head of Governance

We are now seeking to appoint a Head of Governance who will be responsible for keeping the 'conscience' of the College by providing independent, high-quality guidance on all governance issues. There will be significant contact with members of the Governing Body, particularly the Chair, Vice-Chair and Committee Chairs, as well as with the Principal and the Excecutive Management Team.

This is an exciting time to join WM College, as we have a new Chair of Governors and a number of new governors joining. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work independently and able to organise their own time whilst working to strict deadlines.

This is a part-time role (17.5 hours per week) and there is the expectation that you will spend 1 day per week in college, with the remainder working from home. Although there will be flexibility depending on the time of year and governor events.
