Job Purpose: Lead and manage the development, delivery, and evaluation of education capital and curriculum project-based activities at City College Norwich .

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Project Bidding: Manage and lead the identification, development, and submission of project bids to support the strategic aims of the College.
  • Leadership and Support: Provide leadership within project teams and support the Vice Principal (Curriculum and Quality) and Senior Management Team in delivering high-quality projects.
  • Project Accountability: Ensure the effectiveness of projects in delivering high-quality outcomes focused on student learning and success.
  • Innovation and Problem-Solving: Encourage an innovative approach to meet challenging targets and key performance indicators.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct thorough monitoring, audits, and evaluations within the College's quality framework and that required by funding bodies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Act on audit findings to enhance project identification, bidding, and delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across the college to ensure clear accountability, effective resourcing, and provide support and challenge to other managers.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing educational projects.
  • Demonstrated success in securing project funding.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of meeting challenging targets.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes in education.
