Salary             Unqualified: £29,400pa - £32,095pa plus annual MRA of £2,000pa

Qualified: £31,167pa - £34,017pa plus annual MRA of £4,000pa (L3 TAQA or equivalent)

Qualified: £33,044pa - £36,059pa plus annual MRA of £4,000pa (L4 TAQA or equivalent)

Do you have a passion for brickwork and a desire to help shape the next generation of skilled professionals?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Skills Trainer Assessor to join our team and play a vital role in delivering our Level 2 and Level 3 Brickwork Apprenticeships.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage, assess, and support a caseload of apprentices working towards their qualifications in the workplace.
  • Coordinate in-college and on-site activities to ensure a smooth learning journey for each apprentice.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to deliver a comprehensive apprenticeship programme.
  • Support employers and supervisors in providing opportunities for apprentices to gain the required skills and qualifications.
  • Guide apprentices, employers, and supervisors on using the e-portfolio system effectively.
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments in accordance with external examining body requirements and internal college procedures.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure best practices align with industry trends.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, employers, and other education providers.
  • Actively promote the apprenticeship program and generate new business for the college.

 

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Brickwork or a relevant vocational area.
  • Experience delivering and assessing apprenticeship standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered education.
  • A passion for the construction industry and a desire to share your knowledge.
