Job Title: Permanent History Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic History Lecturer to join a Further Education College based in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality History lessons.
• Develop and update curriculum materials.
• Assess student progress through various methods.
• Provide feedback and support to students.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Support the college's safeguarding policies.

Qualifications:

• Degree in History or related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
• Experience teaching History at the FE level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development.

Desirable:

• Experience with e-learning platforms.
• Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches.
