Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching Excellence:

    • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of engineering courses.
    • Work with students of varying abilities, including Level 3 courses.
    • Collaborate with awarding bodies to ensure high-quality education.
  2. Curriculum Development:

    • Assist the Curriculum Manager in shaping the engineering curriculum.
    • Contribute to departmental expansion and development.
  3. Promotion and Marketing:

    • Participate in marketing events to attract prospective students.
    • Champion engineering programs within the college.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven teaching experience or relevant industry background.
  • Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
  • Qualified FE teacher (or willingness to work toward qualification).
  • Clear communication skills for effective teaching and presentations.
  • Efficient administration abilities for student record keeping.
