Equine Technician 7.4 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £23,630 - £25,656 per annum pro rata, (£4,726 - £5,131 actual per annum) An opportunity has arisen to join the Easton College Equine Centre as a Technician. This role will provide practical learning opportunities for students, including demonstrating skills to groups of students and supervising students as they carry out yard duties. In addition, duties will include supporting with equine husbandry, record keeping, health monitoring, exercise and ensuring horses are cared for to the highest welfare and industry standards.
The successful candidate will need to be a genuine team worker and communicate effectively, working in a flexible and busy environment. They will need to have relevant practical (mucking out, feeding) and riding (walk, trot, canter and jumping) experience. A BHS Stage 3 qualification would be desirable but not essential.
This is a part time role, supporting the Equine Centre on a Friday.
