Lecturer Media Specialist (Fixed Term Maternity Cover)

22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

0.6081 (FTE)

Pro Rata of £24,694 to £34,667.00 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Media to join our friendly and professional team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of TV and Film production and an interest in real-time VFX and virtual production. Candidates should be confident using video, audio and lighting equipment and associated editing and control software.

The successful candidate will deliver inclusive, responsive and innovative support to learners. The main responsibility of the role is to teach across a broad spectrum within media across all levels.

It is essential you have the ability to deliver the curriculum creatively with strong independent organisational skills. You will also have administrative responsibilities requiring the tracking, monitoring and recording of learners' work and progress. There will be a substantial marking commitment.

You will have a Level 4 teaching qualification. As an experienced teacher, you will be flexible and ideally be familiar with the current issues and challenges within FE. You would be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success.
