Up to £47,785 per annum, Dependant on a level of qualification, teaching and assessor experience

The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day

52 weeks per annum, paid for 43.13 weeks per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Abingdon & Witney College as an Engineering Lecturer. You will be responsible for coaching and assessing learners on their apprenticeship programmes. You should have the relevant qualifications and/ or experience to be able to deliver and assess up to and including level 4 in Engineering. The post will include supporting apprentices on their day release programmes at Abingdon campus, with assessment taking place in the apprentices' workplace in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

If you are an experienced Mechanical and or Electrical engineer who is looking to get into teaching or assessing, then this post could be perfect for you! You don't need to be a qualified assessor or teacher - we will support you in achieving the necessary qualifications. We just ask that you are motivated by helping others to learn, and that you really want to make a difference to people's lives.

Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
