Marketing Assistant

JOB TITLE: MARKETING ASSISTANT

LOCATION: KING'S LYNN, WITH TRAVEL

HOURS: 37 PER WEEK

SALARY: £22,551 - £22,751 PER ANNUM

This is a rare opportunity to join our well respected and dynamic marketing team as a Marketing Assistant. This role provides critical support to the college through supporting the marketing team with a range of activities to include exploiting social media, supporting Open Days, visiting local schools, photography, as well as ensuring that robust administrative and organisational support is provided.

No two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to work closely across all aspects of the marketing function. Whilst previous experience of working in a marketing role is advantageous it is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Due to the nature of this role and the requirement to visit other sites a full driving license is required. There is a requirement to work on occasion outside of the core business hours including some evenings and weekends, for which you will be able to claim time off in lieu.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Marketing team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.

We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for support staff, plus five College closure days, plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time), fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme. CWA focusses on staff well-being and utilises both internal and external resources, such as a well-being committee and access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme as well as comprehensive training and development.
