Over the last 50 years, Capel Manor College has helped thousands of school leavers and adults achieve their dream of working with animals, plants and the environment. As London's environmental college, the College plays a vital role in the green agenda for the capital, equipping the next generation of land-based sector workers with the skills and knowledge needed to preserve and protect London's wildlife, national parks and green spaces.

Are you keen to share your skills, knowledge and experience? Would you like a rewarding career in education?

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint Lecturer in Horticulture and are looking for professionals who have the ability to share their passion and enthusiasm, and have the ability to encourage and inspire others.

You would be required to teach and assess horticultural related subjects up to Level 2 to a wide range of students. You should have relevant up-to-date industry experience in horticulture, along with a relevant qualification or equivalent.

You will have a passion for engaging and motivating people, demonstrating creativity and innovation alongside delivering best teaching practice to ensure students receive an exceptional experience. Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, if you do not have this, we will support you in gaining your Education and Training Qualification within your first year of joining the college.
