We are recruiting an experienced agriculture lecturer to join the team at Common Leys Farm Campus.

This is an exciting post, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to work across the farm and wider estate.

You should be qualified to degree level in an agriculture or animal related subject and have recent experience of working in the sector or teaching agriculture within a college setting. Experience or interests within the following subjects would be advantageous; Estate Skills, Machinery Operations, Habitat Management, Grassland Management and Crop Production. You would predominantly be teaching on Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds Technical Diplomas in Agriculture to 16-19-year-olds. The hours and days can be flexible.

You would be part of a dedicated team of lecturers, instructors, technicians and support staff based at the farm.

Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
