Teacher - ESOL / English (Evenings - Variable Hours, Fixed Term)

About the Role

Leeds City College are recruiting for 5 variable hours ESOL Teachers to join our ESOL team.

We have high staffing needs because we are a large provider. We are developing a bank of flexible teachers, who might later move into permanent positions. These posts are for applicants who don't already teach for the college in the Adult, Community & ESOL (ACE) department. These posts are variable hours, fixed term contracts in the first instance, but with potential to move onto permanent posts at a later date.

The teaching hours are for evening groups (17:00-19:30 or/and 18:30-21:00) at our Enfield Campus, LS7 1RG. There is no guarantee of work in the first instance. This post is for absence cover, long-term sick leave, new groups starting, etc. Successful applicants may choose anything from one session to more; dependent on availability. Our teaching sessions are 2.5 hours.

The ESOL department at Leeds City College is a grade 1 department. Our Adult provision was graded as Outstanding by Ofsted in May 2022.
