Join Our Team as a Senior Safeguarding Officer at LSEC South!

Are you passionate about safeguarding and dedicated to the well-being of students? LSEC South is looking for a Senior Safeguarding Officer to join our Bromley and Orpington campuses. This full-time, 37-hour-per-week position (40 weeks per year) offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on student safety and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a holistic safeguarding approach across all College sites.
  • Work closely with students, staff, and external agencies to ensure effective safeguarding and compliance with KCSIE 2024.
  • Develop and deliver safeguarding/Prevent training, attend meetings, and maintain up-to-date practices.
  • Manage a caseload of safeguarding concerns, liaise with local authorities, and support partnership working with external agencies.
  • Ensure accurate, confidential records of all safeguarding activities, in line with GDPR.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
