About the role:
To cover staff absence we're recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our established team at our Merrist Wood College.
Working in a busy College environment you will need to be passionate about delivering great customer service to our staff and student customers. Reporting to our Front of House manager, you'll be responsible for the day to day operations of the Catering Outlet, basic preparation of foods and customer service. You'll assist with restocking, deliveries, rotation and presenting our space to the highest standard.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week between 11:30-19:00 during term-time (0.8 FTE).
What do you need to be successful in this role?
The right candidate will have customer service experience, ideally in the hospitality sector, and a basic food hygiene certificate.
Work experience in food service/sales and additional catering/hospitality qualifications would be desirable, but training will be provided.
