Abingdon and Witney college are looking for a conscientious individual with excellent interpersonal skills to deliver inspirational teaching and learning as part of our successful Motor Vehicle team.

Motor Vehicle is based at our Abingdon campus under the Faculty of Technology where we offer Engineering, Computing, and Motor Vehicle. You should be a skilled communicator, have excellent organisational skills and practical experience of working within the motor vehicle industry.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Motor Vehicle and be able to demonstrate up to date industry skills and knowledge.In addition to key vocational knowledge, you must be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy at Level 2.

It would be desirable but not essential if you have experience of other vehicles such as Heavy (HGV),Hybrid and have a recognised teaching qualification.You will maintain the highest standards of health and safety, using innovation within your teaching and assessing to deliver both practical and theory sessions to 14 - 19-year-old students and adults. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your specialist skills to the next generation of motor vehicle professional.

Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
