Maths Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Maths teacher to teach at an exceptional school in Hull on a temporary basis. This is a maternity cover, starting January 2025 and lasting until July 2025. There is the chance that this will increase in the future, but this cannot be verified until closer to the end of the academic year. Payment for this position will be between 31,650 and 49,084 per year (scaled down to a daily rate), depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. This school does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher.

Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull on public transport, and being reasonably central is easy to access in the car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through two terms of their ECT.

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching Maths to KS4 students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
