About the role as a Learning mentor:
To meet our vision of achieving far-reaching, progressive change and impact through learning, we are seeking to recruit an inspiring and motivated Learning Mentor to join the Group Learning Support team in Oxfordshire, based at Blackbird Leys College.
Group Learning Support works with young people who face barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs and those with an EHCP. This post provides an excellent opportunity for someone with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students and providing the support needed in order to ensure that they can achieve.
The main purpose of the role of Learning Mentor is to provide individualised coaching and support to learners using a range of support modes. Support will take place 1:1 or in small groups and sometimes within the classroom.
