Hourly Paid LSA\/Carer

We are looking for a Learning Support Advisor/Carer to join the Additional Learning Support team, providing support in a wide range of programmes for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidate will be helping to support the delivery of personalised learning opportunities. You will assist learners who require one to one support to experience all aspects of college life, including practical personal care.

You will need to be flexible, working well as part of a team to respond dynamically to individual student needs to help remove barriers and support our learners to flourish and build their independence.

The successful candidate will have an understanding and experience of working with young people and/or adults who have diverse learning needs and/or disabilities. You will be a qualified and experienced First Aider with the relevant care training and qualifications.

Working with a diverse range of students, a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills is essential.

This is a fixed term role until 27 th June 2025 with 23 hours per week based at Barnfield College in Luton.

You'll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you'll be actively encouraged to upskill.
