Job description
  • Eastern Education Group - Across Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds
  • Remote and Hybrid working opportunities available
  • 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent
  • Salary: £34,834 per annum - £44,305 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Are you an experienced Database Administrator looking to make an impact? Eastern Education Group is seeking a dedicated professional to design, document, and monitor our database architecture, including SQL and MySQL systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support IT Services in achieving our Group's aims and objectives.
  • Manage daily IT support for business systems and assist in developing efficient IT solutions.
  • Diagnose hardware/software faults and maintain essential documentation.
  • Ensure high data security and compliance, achieving Cyber Essentials Plus annually.
  • Oversee database maintenance, backups, migrations, and recoveries.
  • Prepare and distribute reports to senior management, analysing performance and capacity.
