About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join the Creative Department at FutureSkills in the position of Deputy Head of Department.
The successful candidate will lead on curriculum development and delivery, monitor and report on KPI's, whilst promoting high quality standards across our creative curriculum
In addition, you'll be teaching within the Media and Journalism team and should have a good working knowledge of video and/or audio production technologies and have great skills in Adobe
Creative Suite. It is desirable that applicants have relevant industry experience and a background in 'content creation' (audio or visual) and a solid network of industry professionals.
We would love to hear from candidates with an excellent understanding of media theories and the ability to teach for exam success.
It is expected that candidates have prior experience of delivering vocational qualifications such as BTEC and/or OCR Nationals.
As a desirable candidate will have experience as a moderator or SV.
The successful candidate must have an absolute commitment to standards and delivering an outstanding experience and outcome for learners.
