Learning Facilitator

Role: Learning Facilitator

Location: Kettering & Corby Campus - Tresham College

Salary/Benefits: From £24,000 (pro rata) DOE and Qualification, 27 days annual leave plus bank holiday, People's Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Working Pattern: 22.2 hours (0.6 FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent - Term Time

As a Learning Facilitator at our Kettering/Corby Campuses you will play a pivotal role in the success of the students through:
  • Supporting the development of study skills to students with an identified Learning Difficulty and/or Disability.
  • Developing and maintaining resources to support the needs of students with an identified Learning Difficulty and/or Disability.
  • Maintaining relevant documentation in line with College requirements.
About you:
  • Educated to Level 3 (A level or equivalent) standard
  • GCSE Maths and English (grades A - C) or equivalent
  • Experience of providing support to individuals in an educational or care setting
  • Experience of working with students with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities
  • Recent experience of administrative work in an office environment
  • Experience of working with students across a wide age and ability range, and within a variety of vocational contexts
  • Experience of working effectively with people/clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to keep and maintain accurate records
  • Good organisation skills to meet deadlines working on own initiative
