Role: Additional Learning Support Administrator

Location: Kettering Campus - Tresham College

As a ALS Administrator at our Kettering Campus you will play a pivotal role in the success of the students through:
  • Managing the Additional Learning support claim, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data
  • Ensuring that processes for High Needs Students are followed and in place to enable the college to fulfil its statutory duties in relation to students with Special Educational Needs
  • Undertaking a range of processes to support the management of annual reviews and Exam Access Arrangements to support students with additional needs.
About you:
  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year
  • L3 Business Administration (or similar).At least 3 years of experience of working effectively in a customer focussed environment
  • At least three years' experience of successfully undertaking administration within the area of Additional Learning Support area
  • A sound understanding of statutory duties in relation to students with SEND as identified within the SEND Code of Practice (2014)
  • Experience of working with confidential documentation and information
  • Outstanding working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to demonstrate evidence of working effectively on own initiative to meet deadlines
